Ah, where do I start with this lovely wedding? Well, the story begins on a beautiful and crisp December day, where I headed over to South West London to photograph Sally and Stu’s incredible wedding… They were married at Orleans House which is an absolutely wonderful venue, with lots of pretty grounds and backdrops for photos. Not only did what they have planned sound brilliant, but Sally is THE happiest and smiliest person you could ever meet and so is Stuart. So be warned, there are an absolute ton of smiles in this post and I did find it hard to narrow down the photos – so you may just want to make a cuppa, grab a biscuit and settle in…
Sally and Stu’s fun and relaxed winter wedding at Orleans House
Sally wore a stunning Jenny Packham number and totally rocked it, of course!
I remember Sally almost couldn’t get some of her words out during the ceremony because she was so giggly and emotional, it was such a beautiful ceremony and I had the biggest smile on my face throughout it!
We then headed off for some couple photos around Orleans House and it worked as the most perfect backdrop…
I’m totally in love with these shots of Sally and her bridesmaids, the leather jackets just work so well!
You honestly can’t beat a relaxed pub reception for a wedding, and The Turks Head did not disappoint…
I told the boys to show some love, and this is what they came up with…
I’m in love with the way they decorated the Turks Head. It looked incredibly stylish and pretty – my favourite things were the records on the tables and the cake table was immense! Lots of cakes to choose from which were made by the guests, and there was a delicious selection too.
Their speeches were absolutely hilarious, heartfelt and I loved listening to them.
Have I mentioned how much I love their light up letters from Vowed and Amazed – they were the perfect addition to their reception!
Then the Mariachi band showed up, much to everyone’s surprise! Sally and Stu had booked it without telling any of their guests – everyone loved it and they played some really good songs which had everyone up and dancing.. My personal favourite was their cover of ‘Bad Touch’ by the Bloodhound Gang!!
