Hellooo, I’m Laura!

Hellooo! I’m Laura and I live in Kent, just on the cusp of South East London with my dog Holly. Holly is the cutest big ball of golden fur, loves cuddles and will literally do anything for a bit of cheese.

There’s nothing I love more than wearing snuggly jumpers and curling up watching some films on Netflix. You can guarantee I’m usually binge watching something and some of my fave shows, to mention a few are The US Office, Breaking Bad, It’s Always Sunny, Sherlock, Parks and Rec and ok I’ll fess up – I may have a bit of a guilty pleasure for anything vampire TV related, Buffy and the Vampire Diaries are my go to!

I live for holidays and I love travelling. My favorite past time is browsing Airbnb, finding cute treehouses and cool apartments. It normally results in me getting way too excited and my friends telling me to calm down and stop impulsively booking trips away. The number one place on my bucket list to visit is New Zealand and naturally I’m a huge Lord of the Rings fan! Yep, I can admit I’m a little bit of a major geek. I have a Harry Potter tattoo and I also plan on getting a LOTR one in the near future!

In my spare time you’ll find me at the pub with friends, on walks with Holly or making to do lists of some kind (I’m an obsessive list maker but I kinda love it).  I’m a party planner and a hostess at heart, my house was always the party house during sixth form (thanks again Mum). Nothing has changed since then and now I have my own place I’m still the host! I love festivals and a good ol’ party and I think that’s why I love being a part of weddings so much. I love to meet new people, make new friends and be part of an amazing event.

Being able to photograph weddings and getting to be part of a couples’ special day really does make my heart go boom. If you think I might be the right person to capture your day, I’d love to hear from you!

  • Loved our hike up to Mount Misen today! It was steep and sweaty, but totally worth it 😍
  • The cutest day! Cycling round an island with 700 rabbits πŸπŸ˜πŸ°πŸŒΈπŸ‡πŸŒΏ
  • So you may have seen from my stories that I’m in Japan! Aaahhh my gosh this trip has been in the pipeline for so long and I’m so excited to finally be here. However it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster at the start! We had a connecting flight in Moscow Airport, which was absolute craziness. The airport was so disorganised and chaotic! Luckily we made our next plane, but when we landed in Tokyo, myself along with about fifty other people was told our luggage had been left in Moscow. I had left all my money in there too (stupid I know) I was supposed to be taking my case as hand luggage, but the airline took it off me, so I was flustered thinking about what I needed, and just grabbed my camera and laptop. It was only after a couple of hours and after reading up reviews of the airline on Trip Advisor it seemed this thing happened a lot and a lot of the time people got their luggage back, but with half the valuables missing! So the first four days of trip was spent a bit stressed (I’m a serial worrier), wearing the same outfit I’d travelled in and our first stop in Tokyo was to buy some underwear, as I had literally nothing πŸ˜‚ and I couldn’t even use my bloody camera as I’d left the battery in my case too! I’m happy to report though that the luggage is back, and so are all the contents including my travel money! We literally did a dance around the room when the case arrived and everything was still there. I’ve finally got clean underwear, make up, and my camera battery to take pretty photos! So I hope you don’t mind a bit of a Japan spam from our trip while we’re here for the next week or two, and normal wedding scheduling will resume shortly! πŸ’—
  • I think this is up there in one of my favourite wedding moments ever. Lucy and Gary had just got married outside in a sea of bluebells, the weather was perfect, and everyone was dancing back through the woods singing and dancing to Lovely Man by Bill Withers. It was completely impromptu, and so so perfect πŸ’š
  • I had so much fun catching up with Jess and Dan in Margate recently! We talked about anything and everything, mainly about what makes a good Wetherspoons and where all the good ones are located πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ though in all seriousness, super excited to capture their day in just over a months time πŸ’—
