When Amy and Ben got in touch and told me all about their wedding, I knew it was going to be a really special one. We clicked immediately and I loved hearing all about them and their lovely wedding plans, so it was very exciting to show up on the day and see it all brought to life! Amy was getting ready with the girls at the Crown Inn, and man oh man, was it HOT! I arrived quite early and it was great to see everyone sitting outside in their dressing gowns sipping Bucks Fizz. There wasn’t a cloud in sight and it was so hot that I ended up actually getting sunburnt! The ceremony and reception was held at Moreves Barn in Suffolk, which was so pretty and picturesque, with lots of amazing fields, floral arches, and willow trees… A photographer’s heaven! Amy looked absolutely gorgeous, the whole day was very relaxed and all about family and friends.
Lots of time basking in the sunshine having nibbles, and lots and lots of laughter too. There was quite a few emotional moments that didn’t leave a dry eye in the room such as during the ceremony, as Amy and Ben were so happy, smiley and there was some beautiful readings, along with beautiful music… The speeches were fantastic, lots of fun and I really enjoyed the best man’s ‘alphabet’ speech – it definitely had people in stitches! There was lots of funny moments as well as some very emotional moments, it was really lovely and you could feel the emotion in the whole room. These guys know how to throw a party and there was some very questionable, yet interesting dance moves! It wouldn’t be complete without golden hour, so we nipped back outside just as the sun was setting for some more photos. A massive thanks to my awesome second shooter and friend Kat Forsyth. Just the most perfect day. Enjoy!
