Zoe and Ben had a beautiful, picturesque summer wedding at Caswell House in Oxfordshire and it was SUCH a fun day – it was also one of the first weddings I did back after all the covid restrictions had been lifted. And it’s safe to say, the party absolutely went off! You’ll be able to see just how much it went off because right at the end of these photos with a few of the guys stripping down to their underwear and doing the worm – definitely a highlight.

A picturesque summer wedding morning
It was a super relaxed morning and Zoe looked absolutely stunning in her dress by Made by Love Bridal. I also popped over to see the boys who were getting ready in the cottages on the other side of the venue. They were having some cheeky drinks and opening pressies from Ben. Zoe and the girls all looked completely glam and fabulous. They had their hair done by Katie-Jane Whitlock and the make up by Maxine Wilson. All of the stunning flowers were by the very talented Haze Lea Floral Design. The inside of the main room at Caswell House looked incredible as well, and I also loved the big balloons in the other room by Bubblegum Balloons.

Happy tears on a sunny day
The ceremony was really special with lots of happy tears. Especially from Ben as he waited at the end of the aisle. Zoe and Ben couldn’t stop smiling throughout! We had a load of fun with confetti and then it was time for drinks and canapes in the sunshine. They’d also hired Cat Faulkner, a live illustrator to draw the guests during the drinks. It was really cool and something I’d never seen before. Also I just have to shout out Zoe as she is a very creative person. She made a lot of stuff herself such as the order of the day sign, as well as all the table names, menus, and name place settings. She is a super talented painter and sells her own pet portraits at Zoe Paints. Do check her out (I have bought a Christmas bauble of Holly from her and it is amazing!!)

Hilarious speeches and connie the caterpillar
After some hilarious speeches, a delicious dinner from Indulgence Boutique Hospitality and a few sunset photos, it was time for the evening to kick off the evening party with cake cutting and dancing! They had opted for Colin and Connie Caterpillar cakes from Marks and Spencer. For some reason M&S have currently stopped offering the “wedding” Colin cakes so Zoe and Ben went for the large celebration ones and Zoe made a small veil and top hat to go on them.
And oh my god, what a first dance! They started their first to Michael Bublé’s ‘Everything’, but midway through the band interrupted with one of their favourite songs – ‘Think about Things’ by Daoi Freyr. They then broke out into a surprise routine which everyone went absolutely crazy for and it was totally brilliant. It definitely set the tone for the evening and made everyone firmly glued to the dancefloor! The band, Soho Collective were absolutely fantastic as well as the singer and guitarist Andy King. It was also a real pleasure to work alongside Songbird Wedding Videos.

Zoe and Ben are both such wonderful people and I’m so happy they asked me to capture their wedding at Caswell House. Thank you so much you guys!!! I wish we could do it all again!
