Becky and Mike had a super fun Oxfordshire marquee wedding! Where to even start with this wonderful day… They held the wedding mainly at home. Becky’s Auntie was happy to host a big village fete party for everyone in the afternoon! This is also where Becky got ready with her bridesmaids and family during the morning.
One of my favourite parts of the morning was Becky reading Mike’s letter. Mike had written a letter when they first got engaged. It was given to her on the morning just before leaving to read.
Becky arrived at the church on horse. Yes, that’s right, on horseback!! Amaaazing! It seemed only fitting Becky arrive on horse, because her and her family have always kept horses. Alongside other farm animals too!
The ceremony was so sweet and so wonderful, such a pleasure to witness. Afterwards, it was time for a bucket load of confetti and everyone walked down to the village hall for drinks and afternoon tea! And OMG look at that afternoon tea!
Later, after lots of feasting and speeches, it was time to head back up to Becky’s Auntie’s for the most epic afternoon! Becky and Mike wanted a fun village fete vibe with awesome stuff to keep their guests entertained. There was a bouncy castle, crazy golf, coconut shy, candy floss and a bucking broncho! Plus a rather brilliant cricket match.
Luckily, the weather played out perfectly and we was given an absolutely gorgeous sunset which we took full advantage of. The awesome music in the evening was by The Indie Killers. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside them a few times and they never fail to get the party going. What an epic night! Thank you Becky and Mike for letting me capture your truly amazing Oxfordshire marquee wedding!
