I was really excited when Paige and Aaron booked in for me to photograph their happy and beautiful wedding at the Oak Barn Frame Farm in Kent! I have been to this lovely venue a few times and it’s always an absolute pleasure to work there. The barn itself is beautiful and there are gorgeous views out down into the valley, not forgetting the sheep! Paige and Aaron are both wonderful and such welcoming people. I was really honoured they asked me to capture their day.

Paige got ready at The Oak Barn with their daughter, Bonnie (who was seriously the cutest) along with her bridesmaids and Mum. The girls all looked stunning! The super talented Julia Strockova was in charge of make-up. And the lovely Lisa over at Perfect Wedding Hair was in charge of hair. Aaron was also getting ready at The Oak Barn so I popped over to take photos of him and his best man. I absolutely adore the photos of Paige getting into her dress and also the ones of her and Bonnie together! The bridesmaids dresses were a gorgeous muted mint colour and they were from Jacqueline Louise Bridal. Paige looked so elegant and beautiful in her dress from Christina K Bridal Boutique.

A wonderful place to hold their ceremony
The Oak Barn has some beautiful options for where to hold your ceremony. For their happy and beautiful wedding, Paige and Aaron had chosen outdoors by The Byre. They had the valley and all the trees surrounding them. It also looked stunning with the flower arch by See Rose Floral Design which consisted of lots of deep greenery and classic white roses. One of my favourite moments of the day was Aaron’s reaction to seeing both Bonnie and then Paige walk down the aisle! It was so sweet and Bonnie did so well walking down! Aaron was absolutely beaming as Paige came down as well.

A happy and beautiful wedding for Paige and Aaron
The ceremony was full of such happy moments. Both Paige and Aaron were laughing the entire time and the outdoor setting at the Oak Barn was just perfect. There were such lovely angles everywhere, both from the front and then also from the back with the flower arch. I also love that they came back down the aisle all together, with Bonnie on Aaron’s shoulders!

Eat your food and drink your gin
The drinks reception was wonderful! It was so relaxed and I had lot of time to capture candid moments of everyone enjoying themselves. I really do love this part of the day and being able to capture all these natural and candid shots. There were also some absolutely incredible canapes making their way around from the team at Sarah Hall Catering. Paige made sure to get her fair share, which made me really happy. A lot of the time I see the couple too busy to get any! Paige absolutely loved the little ham and cheese croquettes and was like “I’m making sure I eat this delicious food and drink my gin” and I was just like YES PAIGE. We love to see it!

Personalised wedding favours
Towards the end of the drinks reception, we took some photos with their family as well as their bridesmaids and groomsmen, before heading into the main barn. The main barn was decorated beautifully. It all looked so rustic and pretty! They also had some personalised biscuits for each of their guests as their favours! We had some brilliant speeches which were both really funny and also some teary moments. After it was time for delicious food, again from Sarah Hall Catering. I had sausage and mash which was SO good. I love sausage and mash at weddings!

Photography at this happy and beautiful wedding for Paige and Aaron
We got a really stunning bit of golden light so we headed out to the fields quickly to grab a few photos and we also had a little walk around the pond they have at the Oak Barn. This is such a pretty spot with the willow tree and the jetty! It was then time for some more drinks and mingling while looking out at the fields and then cake cutting time. Paige and Aaron had opted for a naked cake along with some cupcakes. I absolutely LOVE that Paige and Aaron had choreographed their first dance, it was so brilliant and they looked like they had a great time doing it! Everyone went mad for it and it was such a perfect way to kick off the evening.

Pizza please!
The party was fantastic, with Paige and Aaron on the dance floor themselves a lot of the time, Paige still drinking her gin and Aaron pushing his bum on to anyone who would dance with him! To finish off the night, Pizza Federicci came to serve us delicious wood fired pizza from their van. I really love the shot of Paige and Aaron eating their pizza – genuinely think it’s one of my favourite photos from their day! Thank you so much for having me guys, I had the greatest time with you and really appreciate you asking me to photography your happy and beautiful wedding for you, Paige and Aaron.
