Wow, what a way it was to kick off my 2022 wedding season with Fiona and Greg’s wedding. They had a super relaxed East London wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf! I have SUCH happy memories from this day! Fiona was quite literally beaming all day and both her and Greg are just such wonderful people to be around.
I arrived at Trinity Buoy Wharf to capture Greg welcoming their family and friends and everything was set up so beautifully. Fiona arrived with her Dad and bridesmaids and Fiona looked absolutely stunning in her Needle and Thread wedding dress. It was such a special ceremony. Fiona and Greg also read additional vows to each other which was so special. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! There were lots of emotional moments throughout, as well as hilarious and fun moments. I particularly loved when they both pumped their hands in the air after being declared husband and wife and loved that they danced back down the aisle together!
Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles
Instead of confetti, they opted for bubbles walking out to the drinks reception, which was really cool. Safe to say the adults were loving the bubble guns as well as the kids. After lots of prosecco, hugs and family photos it was time for speeches and an epic feast from Boulevard Events. Boulevard Events served chicken, crunchy roast potatoes, veggies and salad – delicious! After dinner came the real treat. It was definitely the bit Fiona and Greg were most excited for. A blimming boat trip up to London and back!! This was absolutely incredible.
More guests going for a relaxed East London wedding
The boat from CPBS picked us up at Trinity Buoy Wharf dock and then took us all the way up to Embankment to pick up their evening guests. We then sailed back to Trinity Buoy Wharf just as the sun was setting and when we got back, the band and venue was all set up for the most epic party.
To top off the relaxed East London wedding evening and to soak up some of the alcohol, we had absolutely delicious pizza served up by the epic Van Dough. Definitely one of the best I’ve had at a wedding, I’d highly recommend these guys if you’re looking for pizza for your evening feast. Thank you so much Fiona and Greg for asking me to capture your wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf, it was beyond epic and I’ll never forget it!
