Wow 2019, that went by in a flash hey? What an *AMAZING* year though! I had weddings which featured bucking broncos, bride’s playing guitars, cricket matches, smoke bombs, ceilidhs, silent discos, rainbow capes and dogs with bow ties… but most importantly, I had the most awesome couples who I’ve enjoyed getting to know so so much and spend time with. I’m beyond happy that you all entrusted me to capture your day and enable me to keep doing this incredible “job” for a living. Still having to pinch myself on a weekly basis. Thank you all very much for letting me be a part of your day!
On a personal note, some of my favourite things from this year was- the big one being mine and Jack’s 2 week trip to Japan in April.
If you follow me on Instagram you probably didn’t escape me posting about a billion photos of cherry blossom on stories. It was seriously epic and I’m already dying to go back to Japan soon! I also ran my first ever half marathon, which was a rollercoaster of emotions (the build up and the race itself) but also one of the best things I did last year and it taught me a lot. I still have a long way to go and am a bit of a noob still, but I can’t wait to run more races and keep improving.
So, here we are in 2020! I say this every year but I *am* going to try to not neglect this little blog and get some wonderful weddings up while I have some downtime over the next couple of months. In the meantime, grab a cuppa and feast your eyes on some of my favourite images from the last 12 months…
