I was so happy when Gaelle and Erwan asked me to be part of their Islington Metal Works wedding! They are such fun and lovely people to be around. I knew their day was going to be bursting full of personality, love and happiness!
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Hammersmith Town Hall. Such a gorgeous light filled space to get married. It was such a wonderful wedding ceremony, because Gaelle and Erwan had made it personal to them both, and all of their family and friends were just SO excited to be there. The majority of their guests live in France, so everyone had travelled over for the weekend. Lots of their family and friends had never visited London before. So it was a first for them to the big city! Gaelle and Erwan had organised a routemaster to take them and everyone from the town hall over to Islington Metal Works for the party.
Time for a shower of confetti and then everyone hopped on the bus! It was probably the most fun journey I’ve ever had on a routemaster. Everyone was soooo pumped up and happy, it was so infectious! I could tell the party later that night was going to go OFF!
I absolutely love an Islington Metal Works wedding, such a cool and unique venue. There was mingling, hugging and speeches – so much laughter and also lots of dancing! There was a delicious BBQ and plenty of drinks flowing. The light up Dance letter was from the amazing Locke and Busby. It was then time to kick off the evening party, and WOW!!! The most amazing party. I left at 1am, but Gaelle told me afterwards they carried on until 5am – brilliant!! Thanks so much Gaelle and Erwan for the most brilliantly fun wedding!

Riding a bus on your wedding day, what a fun idea! And what a cool location for the party! Congrats!
