Oh, my, god! Where do I start with Tash and JF’s amazing Antiparos wedding?!
Antiparos is a tiny and beautiful remote Greek island in the Cyclades, untouched from the rest of the world. I arrived a few days before and was totally in awe of the gorgeous surroundings and colour of the water, but also I loved the relaxed vibe! All of the locals knew each other, as the island is only about 7 miles long and about 5 miles wide!
I couldn’t wait to capture Tash and JF’s day because they are both such lovely and fun people to be around. They held their wedding at Kastro Hotel with a sunset ceremony at the Antiparos Cave. It was such a chilled afternoon getting ready, there was lots of emotional moments too!
The ceremony was so so wonderful. It was intimate, personal and really beautiful to witness.
After it was time for champagne, hugs and happy tears! I’m pretty sure I also had tears in my eyes too haha.
We then headed back to Kastro Hotel for the most epic party ever! There was a dinner feast and speeches, then it was time for a special surprise. JF had secretly learned guitar for the previous 8 months, and he had learnt Tash’s favourite song to play too. It was beautiful and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.
Then it was time to eat cake and get the party started! Everyone was itching to get up and dance, and there was some awesome Greek traditions thrown in – lots of plate smashing – so much fun! Lots of sweat, whiskey and of course, jumping in the swimming pool to end the night! Thank you so much Tash and JF for asking me to capture your incredible Antiparos wedding!
