Amy and Dmirij had the most beautiful Lake Bled Wedding in Slovenia! Their wedding was held at Bled Castle with magnificent views over the lake.
Amy and Dmitrij are both such awesome and inspiring people to be around! They’re big into their running, cycling and swimming. Dmitrij got down on one knee and proposed to Amy at the start line of a marathon. What an amazing way to pop the question! I have to thank Amy and Dmitrij actually because I was so inspired from hearing all about their amazing accomplishments that it gave me the kick I needed to get back into running myself.
I was so happy they asked me to come out to Slovenia to capture their Bled Castle wedding! Lake Bled is such an amazing place and so I’m already dying to go back.
It really was the most wonderful day and the ceremony was so special, the views all around us were breathtaking. Most importantly, Amy and Dmitrij wanted a wedding full of love, good food and wine! After lots of hugs and some photos, we headed over to Bled Island by boat. It’s a tradition in Bled that every couple married rings the bell in the church on the tiny little island in the middle of the lake. It was also the perfect excuse to stop for some delicious ice cream, more champagne and explore the little island! The wedding planning was by Primavera Bled.
After that, it was time to sail back to the castle for dinner and dancing! Of course, not forgetting the epic sing off from the two different boats on the way back over. Our boat did a brilliant rendition of Spice Girls! Thank you so much Amy and Dmitrij for inviting me to capture your wonderful Lake Bled wedding!
