Toni and Alex had a really gorgeous and relaxed wedding at Furtho Manor Farm in Buckinghamshire. Toni got ready at their lovely home which had all of the natural light she needed for her hair and make-up and we had a really nice morning. Toni’s dress was a beautiful, classic lace wedding dress with long sleeves and a high neckline. Her vale was simple but perfect and she wore it with her hair down in a very natural and low key wedding style. Silver, the cat, was also helping Toni and her bridesmaids to get ready!
An Emotional Church Ceremony
When the time came, we made our way around to the church in Potterspury for the wedding ceremony, which was truly wonderful. The church was in a gorgeous setting and featured traditional arches as well as stained glass windows and, on top of that, it was also quite an emotional ceremony. Toni’s dad walked her down the aisle and gave her away to Alex with both Alex and Toni’s Dad wearing matching blue suits and waistcoats.
Relaxed Wedding Food
After the wedding ceremony we headed to Furtho Manor Farm which, once a traditional sheep farm, has now been beautifully converted and is used as a relaxed wedding venue. When all of the wedding party arrived at Furtho Manor Farm they threw confetti and then began the reception drinks. Toni and Alex were having a great time and laughing with everyone which was just lovely to see. It was a lovely low key wedding and the bride & groom also opted for a unique wedding dinner of taco style street food. Tacos at weddings everyday please!!! I don’t care how messy they are to eat, they were soooo good and all the credit goes to the incredible Stanley Street Caterers. The barn at Furtho Manor Farm also looked stunning! I loved all the rustic details and the wooden beams and the fairy lights certainly added the wow factor.
The Speeches
The wedding speeches were all really sweet as well as being funny which is always a bonus! After the speeches everyone stretched their legs (headed to the bar) whilst Toni, Alex & I went for a short walk around the grounds and captured a few more wedding photos. We captured some Bride & Groom photos in the stubble fields, some group shots in the gardens and finally some photos by the lake. I love that Furtho Manor Farm has a variety of backdrops from the fields to the barn as well as lots of rustic and urban vibes.
Now it was time for the evening to really get started. And it’s safe to say that the dancefloor was absolutely banging! The Visual Sax were also playing in the middle of it all really got the vibe going. I really love sax players at weddings as they bring such a great energy! Many shots were downed and dance moves were thrown around the floor.
Thank you again soooo much Toni and Alex, I had the best time with you on your special day.
