Blake Hall Wedding: Rebecca & Jamie’s Beautiful Boho Barn Celebration
Rebecca and Jamie’s Blake Hall wedding is one I’ll never forget. From the relaxed atmosphere to the thoughtful, personal details woven throughout the day, their celebration was a beautiful reflection of who they are as a couple. I genuinely had the best time capturing their day which felt joyful, fun, and full of their personalities.
I arrived to capture Rebecca getting ready on site at The Old Coach House. This was such a lovely space to get ready in and it was such a gorgeous sunny Spring day. I absolutely fell in love with Rebecca’s dress (so much so I also got this dress for my own wedding!!) She looked so stunning and it had such a relaxed boho vibe with the lace sleeves. Rebecca and her girls were getting glammed up with Samantha from Beautiful You Make Up Artist on make up and Rachel from Leggy Bird Hair doing hair. Rebecca’s first look with her Dad was really sweet, he got so emotional when he saw her in her dress.
A special ceremony and drinks outside
The ceremony itself was incredibly special. Rebecca and Jamie were absolutely beaming throughout, with quite a few emotional moments and you could tell they were just so happy. I also love the ceremony space at Blake Hall, it’s such a gorgeous barn.
After the ceremony, it was time for confetti (and I absolutely love it when people go full on colourful or rainbow with it!) and it looked so amazing. Afterwards, it was time for drinks and canapes in the garden in the glorious sun with acoustic songs from the lovely Alan Oliver Wedding Guitarist. I’ve worked with Alan on quite a few weddings and I always love his music during the drinks reception. We also took a few photographs with family and friends by the beautiful willow tree. While everyone headed into the main barn to get seated for dinner, we had a little 10 minute walk round Blake Hall for some couples photos. The gardens here are so beautiful and it was lovely for Rebecca and Jamie to just have a little breather the two of them.

Inside the main barn, Rebecca and Jamie had done a lot of DIY. And it totally paid off because everything looked so so beautiful. Their table numbers were inspired by their favourite films and TV locations – from Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter to Stranger Things and Game of Thrones. Being a big fan of all of these, I was in my element haha. I really love it when couples bring their shared passions into their wedding day details. I also loved the colours of rust, brown and the large macrame piece behind the top table. I loved the boho flowers, little and large pampas in large vases and I also loved Rebecca’s bouquet. All the wonderful flowers were provided by Helen Sheard Floral Designs. It was then time for speeches which were so heartfelt and emotional before having a delicious dinner.
Golden Hour and Smoke Bomb Fun
We were lucky enough to be treated to the most incredible golden hour – it was SO dreamy! The soft evening light was perfect and we snuck off for 5 minutes for some couple photos.
Before the party kicked off, Rebecca and Jamie had said they wanted to get some colourful photos with smoke bombs. I absolutely love smoke bombs and think they can be such a fun interactive thing to do and they can give you some amazing colourful photos. We did it with their bridesmaids and groomsmen and it was so much fun!!

Afterwards, it was then time for the first dance and party. The first dance was so lovely, and the party that followed was brilliant. Rebecca was on the dance floor the entire time, which I absolutely loved!! I love when couples are on their dancefloor all night! They also had a temporary tattoo station which was really fun, and of course shots at the bar.
