Sarah and Pete’s quirky London warehouse wedding at One Friendly Place was a special one. I had been wanting to shoot a warehouse wedding for a while as I love London having spent my whole life here in South East London so when Sarah and Pete asked if I could capture it for them I jumped up and down with excitement! I’ve known Sarah and Pete for a long time, having met them at one of my first ever weddings about four years before. They are a lovely couple and you can see they just go together like peas in a pod. Sarah got ready at a nearby hotel and had her hair and make up done by the amazing Elbie Van Eeden. They got married at the most stunning church, St Pauls in Deptford. It was a beautiful service and the confetti on the way out was CRAZY! But you can never have too much confetti, it was so much fun and made for great photos!
We then continued the wedding at One Friendly Place which is an incredibly cool four floor warehouse with loads of interesting rooms full of quirky awesome props. They also have this stunning roof terrace at the top with gorgeous views of London. Of course we took advantage of this and went up there at sunset! It was a lovely evening and so nice for Sarah and Pete to have 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the wedding. They had a big vegan menu filled with delicious food for their guests and they had such a cool dance floor set up – a big huge industrial fan (one of the props from the venue) and big light up letters. The party was so much fun. Thank you for having me Sarah and Pete, here we go!
